We invite you to vacation in luxury at The Zen Lodge on the Columbia vacation rental with 180 degree views. It is newer construction & spacious at 4550 square feet, sleeping 16. The exquisite finishes include hardwood floors, granite, copper sinks, and wood beams which lend to the contemporary lodge feel. The waterfront view is breathtaking sitting high above the Columbia River.

ABOUT THE ZEN LODGE ON THE COLUMBIA
Main Floor
Walk through the unique pivoting entry door and look through the lodge to the river view. A few steps to the great room and kitchen and you will know you have chosen the perfect vacation spot. The kitchen is spacious and features slab granite, cherry cabinetry, a huge breakfast bar seating 9, and top of the line Bosch stainless appliances. There is even an integrated espresso maker for that morning latte. The great room and dining area feature a dining set for 8, vaulted ceilings with skylights, and comfortable seating for conversation or viewing the 55” flat screen TV. There is a guest powder room, and the full bath on the main floor is accessed from both 1st floor bedrooms, each with a floating vanity. The waterside room has its own covered patio area. Both of these bedrooms have queen sized beds and stunning views of the river.
Second Floor
Upstairs to the loft you will find a second living area with a flat screen TV (videos only). The loft view to the outdoors or the great room below won't be impeded thanks to the stylish glass railing system. Double doors take you to the master suite with a king sized bed, candle lit fireplace, and 42" plasma TV. This bedroom has its own covered view deck for you to enjoy your morning coffee. The private bath has a huge granite double vanity, jetted soaking tub, and walk-in shower with jets and rain heads - just like visiting a high-end spa. Also on this floor is the bunk room with 3 bunk beds sleeping 6. Through the bunk room is the 4th bedroom which has a queen sized bed, and yes - another river view!
Outside the Lodge
The covered patio offers a shady place to take in the gorgeous view and a gas grill ready for your BBQ feast. There is a grassy yard for sunbathing or a game of catch. Listen to the soothing sound of the waterfall feature in the professionally landscaped yard. The garden lighting adds to the ambiance in the evenings. End the day roasting marshmallows over the fire pit with a riverfront view.
SUMMER IN CHELAN
The Zen Lodge on the Columbia is just 5 miles from downtown Chelan and all the activities the area offers. In summer there is swimming, boating, fishing, waterslides, golf, horseback riding, and so much more. In any season, wine tasting is popular at the 17 wineries in the Chelan area, many of which are award winning. The Chelan area is the number one vacation destination in Washington for a reason! Come experience the Columbia, 300 days of sunshine, and Lake Chelan, the largest lake in Washington.
Water Activities
The waters of the Columbia River and Lake Chelan are the main attraction. Experience everything from swimming to boating to waterskiing to jet skiing. Let your adventurous spirit come out and try paragliding, powered hang gliding or wind surfing on the Columbia. Take the family to Slidewaters, one of the northwest's largest waterslide parks. With 50 mile long Lake Chelan, Lake Entiat on the Columbia, and the waters of the expansive Columbia River, there is plenty of room for everyone and their water activity of choice.
Beebe Bridge Park
Beebe Bridge Park on the Columbia River is conveniently located a mile and a half from The Zen Lodge and has everything you could want in a park, including two boat launches. There is also a sandy swimming beach, covered picnic shelter, playground, tennis courts, volleyball and plenty of green grass.
Other Area Attractions
If you're staying a full week, there are other activities 30 to 60 miles away such as Grand Coulee Dam, Rocky Reach Dam or Dry Falls! Dry Falls was the largest waterfall in the history of the earth - right here in Washington State. Go 20 minutes from Wenatchee to the quaint town of Leavenworth, or catch a concert at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, about 1 1/2 hours away. Or stay in Chelan for live music - wineries and bars host great bands all summer long.
WINTER IN CHELAN
While Chelan is a popular summertime destination, there is much to do in the winter and the off-season Zen Lodge prices are more affordable. Echo Valley Ski Area offers downhill skiing, inner tubing, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing, all within 30 minutes. Mission Ridge is just an hour away for a larger, 2000 acre ski location. Or stick close to home, bring your toboggan and sled the neighborhood hills. In the Chelan area there are 200 miles of marked, groomed snowmobile trails and rentals are readily available. Or take the family on an old-fashioned sleigh ride at Banjo Creek Farms. In any season, wine tasting is popular at the 17 wineries in the Chelan area. Ask about a wine tasting tour package for your group. You will be picked up and dropped off right at The Zen Lodge in a limousine for a four or six hour tour of several wineries.
