"We were a group of 15 people (4 families with kids) and wanted to go on a vacation and wanted to ensure all age groups are equally engaged and hence chose Lake Chelan. The next big thing on our mind was a cozy place to stay and we are very glad that we chose Zen lodge. It is a great water front location on the Columbian river and at a very convenient location from Lake Chelan. Four families with kids had a very comfortable stay at the location. The Lodge is very spacious and is well maintained. Two master bedrooms has great water front view and patio on the 1st and 2nd floor is a great place in the morning to sip a cup of coffee and relax. Kids were very comfortable in the Bunker beds which ensured that the adults got their time. For families with younger kids, there is a portable Crib that we used and my kids were comfortably sleeping in that. Kitchen, fridge and the storage area were very spacious and met out needs. In the night we did a bonfire in a dedicated place in the lawn which was fun. While, the water sprinklers in the lawn, started automatically, while we were donig bonfire and was a little challenging for us to learn on how to switch them off. Make sure you know the information on how to switch this off when needed. Couple of enhancement that I would suggest for the location would be to add a swimming pool if possible so that kids and adults can have some more fun in the indoor water. Also, having a railing around the property will ensure additional safety for the children (though there is a virtual railing buit with rocks). This was not an issue for us, but would be a good thing to have complete peace of mind, whent the kids are out in the lawn. In all, this place is totally worth the price and we had a great experience staying here and thoroughly enjoyed. "
