"The Zen Lodge is a great retreat/reunion spot -- our family has enjoyed it twice now. The space in this home is lovely -- clean & ample, with a Great Room perfect for relaxing together, playing games, and fixing family meals. Four bedrooms are large & private (the master suite is wonderful with an elegant bathroom and a wonderful deck for morning coffee or other times), and then there's a bunk room, loft, and other nooks & crannies for an extra bed here and there (we've taken a tent & put it on the deck for younger members). The view of the river / hills / sunrise / sunset from the decks is gorgeous and so peaceful! The home is well-equipped, including 2 refrigerators and lots of DVDs. You could stay in or venture out: it's a quick run to some great beaches on Lake Chelan... or the Blueberry Farm in Manson for breakfast... horseback riding at the Whistling Pines Ranch in Pateros or a ferry ride to Stehekin. A great place to come home to at the end of the day! Management has always been responsive & helpful with any issues."
